Living Seeds Initiative, founded in February 2008 by veteran missionaries Gene and Gretchen Tate, exists to see ‘God’s Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. Drawing on decades of personal missions experience and international travel working with impoverished people in developing nations plus mentoring and discipling others to minister to the world’s poor, they understand that people don’t change simply by bringing things to them, doing things for them, or telling them how things should be done.

Real and lasting change comes by leading people in a discovery process of the Kingdom of God. God’s Kingdom represents truth for relationships in all areas of life — spiritual, physical, social and mental. This transformation process exchanges lies for truth.

Living Seeds Initiative approaches the need to create sustainable change by addressing the root issues found in world views rather than focusing on the external symptoms of poverty. Working primarily through training, viewing life and agriculture through the eyes of a loving, merciful and creative God, we believe man restored to his Creator is the greatest hope for positive change.

Living Seeds Initiative desires for all people of every economic sphere to come to the knowledge of Truth, discover God’s created intentions for life, and live according tothese intentions.
